Plot News
Opening of Telgar
Rumors of the opening of Telgar Weyr, many wonder just who will be leaving the Weyr. Fort debated about which one of the Queens will be transferred to the newly opened Weyr; while Benden sees the opening of the new weyr with fear, as the Weyrleader’s rage begins to grow.
Death Comes to us ALL
Senior Weyrwomen of Fort is slowly dying. Who will become Senior of Fort after her? The Weyr is slowly choosing sides, and many wonder what the change in the leadership means for the Weyr.
Eggs on the Sands
A Gold Egg has been laid on the Sands of Benden. With the rumors of the opening of Telgar Weyr, residents and riders alike wonder if this Gold will be shipped off to Telgar as quick as possible.
Trouble in Paradise
Benden has always had to tip-toe around the Weyrleader’s temper. However, currently, one group particular has achieved the Weyrleader’s wraith, those that believe that Thread will return, and may that have voice that belief in the past have found themselves transferred out of the Weyr.

The Northern Bowl
The northern part of the Bowl is a hub of activity. The far northern wall contains the gigantic opening to the hatching grounds. The barracks that house the candidates and then the weyrlings can be found in this side of the weyr. A long staircase leads the way up to the large weyrs that house the homes of the Queens of Fort, along with the adjoining Weyrleader’s weyr. |

The Southern Bowl
The main feature of the southern part of the bowl is the large blue that that takes over the southern tip. A fenced off area is attached next to the lake houses the feeding pens were the dragons have their meals. A small garden area can be found on the other side of the lake area. |

Lower Caverns
Without a doubt, the busiest area in the entire Weyr! The Lower Caverns consist of the kitchens, dining area and storage rooms. There's always a hot cup of klah available by the fires, but don't even think about trying to find fresh leaves in the storage rooms; it's a maze back there. |

Crafter’s Quarters
Sleeping rooms, workshops and all the modern amenities - what more could a crafter need? The Weyr has set aside rooms for traveling traders, and also provides permanent sleeping chambers for resident Harpers and Healers. Also, the Healers maintain the injured and sick bay, located at the entrance to the quarters. |

The Northern Bowl
The ground of the bowl made up of a flat, undistinguishable rock and is just under a mile long and a half of a mile wide at the widest. The entrance to the hatching grounds, wide and tall enough for a dragon to fly through is on the northern wall. The living caverns tunnel branches off along the western wall. |

The Southern Bowl
The main feature of this end of the bowl is the Weyr's lake, which takes up nearly a quarter of the bowl. The southeastern part of the lake puddles around the fence that surrounds the feeding grounds. The tunnel to the weyrling barracks is on the eastern side of the bowl. Ledges and weyrs can be found all along the rock walls of both sides of the bowl. |

Lower Caverns
A maze of caverns and tunnels run through the interior of Benden Weyr. The main tunnel leads to the living cavern and the kitchen beyond them. Other branches lead to the various workrooms use by the crafters and works, to the ever lit nighthearth, and to the living areas that houses the weyr’s main workforce. |

Benden Weyr Area
The Benden Coverage Area has Benden Hold and its most revered craft hall, the Winecraft to the east, while Bitra Hold is housed more to the north. To the far northeast, in the mountains, sits the famed Benden Weyr, and to the northwest lie the forests of Lemos, and the Woodcraft Hall. |

Fort Weyr Area
Fort Weyr’s area includes Ruatha Hold to the west, Southern Boll to the south, and Fort Hold somewhere in the middle. You can also find the Harper, Healer and Weavercraft Halls among the hills and pastures that make up Fort’s converge area. |

High Reaches Area
Directly north lies High Reaches Weyr and its seven spindles. To the northwest, sits High Reaches Hold. Tillek Hold and its Seacraft and fishing vessels is located to the west, while the contrasting green orchards of landlocked Nabol stretch out to the east. The Minecraft Hold is situated to the northeast. |

Igen Weyr Area
Igen Weyr Coverage Area includes the hot deserts of Igen Hold. In the southwest lies the old volcano that houses Igen Weyr, and towards the east is the sweeping plains of Keroon Hold, which is shares its area with Ista Weyr. Here you can also find the Beastcraft and Tanner Halls. |

Ista Weyr Area
Ista Weyr’s area includes the Ista Hold on tropical Ista Island. To the east across the Igen peninsula is the lush lands of Nerat Hold. You can also find the Farmer and Glass-smith Crafthalls among the Ista Weyr’s coverage areas. |
